IN THE DISTRICT COURT

OF CLEVELAND COUNTY

STATE OF OKLAHOMA

IN THE MATTER OF THE ADOPTION

OF ALONSO ALBERTO

COVARRUBIAS, A MINOR CHILD

Case No. FA-2019-17

NOTICE BY PUBLICATION

THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA TO:

Martin Alonso Covarrubias, a.k.a. Martin Covarrubias-Lopez:

You are hereby notified that a Petition for Adoption of Alonso Alberto Covarrubias, a minor child, and an Application for Termination of your parental rights have been filed in the District Court of Cleveland County, Oklahoma, by Petitioners Nathan James Kain and Katie Suzanne Kain, alleging that you have abandoned said minor child and requesting that the Court terminate your parental rights and enter a final decree of adoption establishing a parent-child relationship between the Petitioners and the minor child.

Unless you answer said Application for Termination or appear in person or by counsel at the hearing on said Application on March 25, 2019, at 9:15 o’clock a.m. before Judge Stephen W. Bonner at the Cleveland County Courthouse located at 200 S. Peters Street, Norman, Oklahoma, the relief requested in said Petition and said Application may be granted, thereby terminating your parental rights over the minor child.

“ FAILURE TO APPEAR AT THE HEARING SHALL CONSTITUTE A DENIAL OF INTEREST IN THE MINOR CHILD, WHICH DENIAL MAY RESULT, WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE OF THIS PROCEEDING OR ANY SUBSEQUENT PROCEEDING, IN THE TERMINATION OF YOUR PARENTAL RIGHTS AND IN THE ADOPTION OF THE MINOR CHILD.” 10 O.S. § 7505-2.1(B)(2).

Give under my hand and seal this 7th day of February, 2019.
